Hotel Housekeeper Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms and common areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare guest rooms for new arrivals, ensuring that all areas are clean and tidy.
  • Change and replace bed linens, towels, and other amenities as needed.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum all floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Restock supplies and amenities in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities team.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding promptly to their needs and requests.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 25 pounds).
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
