Automation Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to design and implement robust automation solutions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop system designs and applications for automation purposes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement automation projects.
  • Design and develop custom communication protocols for equipment integration.
  • Build expertise in equipment communication, performance tracking, and process management.
  • Parsing equipment data for pertinent information to support backend systems.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.
  • Provide operational support by monitoring and maintaining hardware and software systems.
  • Manage database transactions and optimize system performance.
  • Monitor equipment tool performance and conduct regular maintenance and updates of automation programs.
  • Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Conduct shift pass-down meetings and provide reports or feedback on issues to the production team.

Essential Attributes:

  • Strong programming skills in C, C#, C++, Java, SQL.
  • Minimum 2-10 years of development work experience.
  • Keen interest in working in clean room environments and Continuous Improvement Projects.
  • Ability to learn SEMI standards and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • Strong sense of urgency and practical problem-solving abilities during production-critical situations.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging automation systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues effectively.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and adaptability.
  • Enthusiasm to learn new technologies and tools related to automation and semiconductor domains.
