Billing Operations Lead

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead the establishment and management of a new Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. This role demands end-to-end expertise in the US healthcare revenue cycle, encompassing Medical Billing, Medical Coding, Prior Authorization, Denial Management, and US Healthcare Insurance Verification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of experienced billers and coders.
  • Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workflows, and performance metrics.
RCM Team Leadership:
  • Oversee Medical Billing & Coding operations.
  • Develop and implement Prior Authorization processes.
  • Payer Credentialing and US Healthcare Insurance Verification strategies.
  • Charge Entry & Payment Posting optimization.
  • Denials Management and Accounts Receivable (AR) follow-ups.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and process efficiency.
Performance Monitoring:
  • Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks to enhance revenue cycle efficiency.
Communication and Reporting:
  • Communicate directly with stakeholders for process updates and escalations.
  • Provide regular reports and actionable insights.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in US RCM, with 3+ years in a leadership/supervisor role.
  • Strong expertise in medical billing, medical coding, prior authorization, denial management, and insurance verification.
  • Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, and major PM/EHR systems.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership presence and decision-making skills.
