Job Title: Acquisition Manager (Retail & Ecommerce)

This role involves identifying and evaluating potential locations within the target city for both Retail Stores (customer-facing) and Dark Stores (fulfilment centres for quick delivery).

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in site selection, commercial property management, and leasing.
  • They will be responsible for aligning site selection with business objectives such as visibility, accessibility, and target customer reach (retail), and proximity to key delivery zones (dark store).
  • Additionally, they will oversee end-to-end management of Leave & License and Lease Agreements for all selected commercial properties.
  • Key responsibilities include ensuring all legal, compliance, and operational terms are reviewed, negotiated, and finalized as per company policy.
  • Establish and maintain strong networks with commercial property consultants and brokers in the respective target areas.
  • Leverage local expertise to identify on- and off-market opportunities for high-potential properties.
  • Lead all commercial negotiations with landlords, builders, and developers to secure favourable terms for leasing.

The successful candidate will drive discussions on rental rates, lock-in periods, maintenance, rent-free periods, and fit-out allowances to optimize ROI.
