Your Day at NTT DATA

You'll join our team as a Data Protection Specialist, responsible for delivering managed services to clients ensuring their IT infrastructure remains operational. Your proactive monitoring and problem-solving skills will help resolve technical incidents and problems.

This role involves proactively reviewing client requests or tickets and applying technical/process knowledge to resolve them without breaching service level agreements. You'll work on second-line support for incidents and requests with medium complexity, focusing across two or more technology domains such as Cloud, Security, Networking, Applications, and Collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in backup storage operations.
  • Strong product and domain knowledge.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Manage, configure, and implement Commvault platform skills.
  • Daily backup routines as defined in policy.
  • Configure, monitor alerts, diagnose event alerts.
  • Configure storage units, column pools, disk staging, and storage lifecycle policies.
  • Ability to correlate incident trends into problem management and execute permanent fixes.
  • Good documentation skills.
  • Patch management execution.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience). Relevant certifications carry additional weightage on a candidate's qualification for the role.
