Research Position Opportunity

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced research professional to join our team as a Research Scientist. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for testing battery materials in Coin/Pouch cell configurations.

Benchmarking properties/performance with expected standards is also an essential aspect of this position.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Testing of battery materials in Coin/Pouch cell configurations
  • Benchmarking of properties/performance with expected standards
  • Improvements to existing cell performances
  • Setup/maintenance of battery performance lab

You will be working with a talented team of researchers and scientists who share your passion for electrochemistry and materials science.

Educational Requirements:

Candidates holding a Ph.D. in Electrochemistry/Inorganic Chemistry/Physical Chemistry or M.Sc. with experience in Li/Na ion batteries will be preferred.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Good analytical ability and hands-on experience with assembly and testing of Li-ion cells (coin & pouch type)
  • Electrochemical methods: cyclic voltammetry, impedance spectroscopy, charge/discharge cycling
  • Chemical analysis: thermal analysis, spectrophotometry
  • Inorganic synthesis: oxides, phosphates, silicates of alkali and transition metals
  • Excellent communication skills and team building approach
