Job Title: Investment Compliance Specialist

Job Description

This role is focused on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of investment compliance across various assets.

  • Assess investment policy restrictions and analyze analytics to identify potential breaches.
  • Develop and implement new rules on Aladdin platform to enhance compliance capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review existing client guidelines and update compliance master (Aladdin).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure thorough understanding of investment compliance processes and procedures.
  2. Extract applicable investment restrictions from fund prospectus, investment policy, and investment policy statement.
  3. Review exiting client's investment guidelines and implement changes in compliance master (Aladdin).
  4. Investigate valid breaches and rule out invalid breaches to ensure accurate delivery.
  5. Interact with multiple parts and levels of the organization, including peers, supervisors, project leaders, and internal/external clients.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, quantitative analysis, business administration, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-8 years of investment industry experience with basic understanding of investment vehicles.
  • Good understanding of Alladin rule coding platform and prior knowledge of regulatory rules around 1940 Act and UCITS.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft platforms and other PC-based software.
  • Excellent team interaction and people skills.
