
Senior Pharmaceutical Access Specialist

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Market Access Strategist to lead market access activities, ensuring optimal pricing, reimbursement, and patient access for pharmaceutical products.
The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Health Economics teams to develop and execute market access strategies aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Strategic Plans: Ensure optimal pricing, reimbursement, and patient access for pharmaceutical products through the development of innovative market access strategies.
- Conduct In-Depth Analysis and Research: Identify market access barriers, pricing trends, and payer requirements by conducting thorough analysis and research.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Generate evidence supporting product value with Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR), Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Regulatory teams to ensure seamless execution of market access strategies.
- Negotiate Reimbursement Strategies and Pricing: Engage with payers, government bodies, and healthcare authorities to secure reimbursement conditions that support patient access.
- Prepare Reimbursement Dossiers and Value Dossiers: Submit pricing applications and HTA submissions to support product access and provide a competitive advantage in the market.
- Monitor Policy Developments and Competitive Landscape: Proactively adapt access strategies in response to regulatory changes and market shifts to maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide Strategic Insights and Recommendations: Support product launch planning and lifecycle management with data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
- Manage Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with payers, KOLs, industry bodies, and internal teams to foster a collaborative environment.
- Lead and Mentor a Team of Market Access Professionals: Foster high performance and knowledge development among team members to drive success in market access initiatives.
- Postgraduate degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Health Economics, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Market Access, HEOR, Pricing & Reimbursement, or related function within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, pricing & reimbursement pathways, HTA processes, and payer dynamics.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing market access strategies, preparing reimbursement dossiers, and engaging with payers.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
