About This Opportunity

This role is all about fostering a dynamic and inclusive team environment. You will be responsible for onboarding new members, ensuring a smooth transition into our global remote team. Your task will be to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion through effective practices and policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the onboarding process from day one, providing an in-depth walk-through of our culture and policies.
  • Oversee onboardings, handling asset and access-related tasks efficiently.
  • Partner with vendors to conduct thorough background verification processes for all new hires.
  • Regularly check-in with new and existing team members to ensure high happiness and productivity levels.
  • Solve people-related conflicts or concerns in partnership with leaders and management.
  • Be the central point of contact for team queries regarding policies and culture.
  • Plan and execute fun activities to keep the team engaged both online and offline.
  • Maintain all communication related to the People Operations team, including email templates and policy updates.
  • Work closely with leaders to develop and add policies to our handbook, reflecting our vision, mission, and values.
  • Minimize attrition and maximize retention through strategic programs.
  • Conduct exit interviews and oversee the entire off-boarding process.
  • Issue necessary letters and emails as needed.
  • Organize team offsites and workations, managing logistics end-to-end.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strategize and execute people processes from start to finish.
  • Negotiate and manage partnerships with vendors.
  • Coordinate salary changes and payroll with the Finance team within agreed timeframes.
  • Vet paperwork and contracts as required.
About You

We're looking for a highly skilled professional with:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Maturity and sensitivity when handling people matters.
  • High energy levels to run engagement activities.
  • A knack for understanding people.
  • Empathy and rationality.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in People Operations, people programs, staffing, and/or large-scale people-related roles.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and employee relations case management.
  • The ability to analyze data, understand trends, and develop recommendations for action.
  • Effective problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal guidance in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with numbers, MS Office, and tools like Fresh team, Zoho, Deel, Just Works.
  • Prior experience working with a remote, global team of over 250 people.
