Venture Capital Investment Role

We are seeking a skilled investment analyst to join our team and gain hands-on experience in early-stage investing, startup evaluation, portfolio company management, and ecosystem engagement.

This role offers exposure to the venture capital industry, including deal sourcing, evaluation, due diligence, portfolio management, and investor relations.

The successful candidate will work closely with the founder and partner to develop their skills in commercial due diligence, financial due diligence, legal due diligence, and coordinating with professional firms.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market size analysis, evaluate products/services, assess teams, business models, and financials, identify risk factors, and analyze competitive landscapes and funding histories.
  • Support the investment team in due diligence, prepare detailed investment notes on potential opportunities.
  • Assist in sourcing opportunities from founder networks, investment bankers, and the startup ecosystem.
  • Engage with portfolio companies, assist in preparing updates on the companies, and assist founders with research and go-to-market strategies.
  • Attend startup events, demo days, and network with founders, accelerators, and fellow investors.
  • Assist in preparing compliance documentation and internal records.
  • Assist in making presentations for Limited Partners (LPs) and investor updates.
Requirements:
  • NISM Series XIX-D exam is mandatory.
  • Passion for startups, venture capital, and innovation.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to assess market trends and business models.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in business, finance, economics, engineering, or related fields preferred.
  • Prior experience in startups, consulting, investment banking, or finance is a plus.
