Portfolio Management Role

This is a key position responsible for managing investment portfolios, ensuring that they meet the desired risk and return objectives. The portfolio manager will be accountable for making informed decisions regarding asset allocation, security selection, and portfolio rebalancing.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A professional qualification in law, finance, accountancy, business management or CFA certification would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage investment portfolios to achieve optimal returns while minimizing risk
  • Maintain accurate records of portfolio holdings, transactions, and performance metrics
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to inform investment decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes affecting the securities market
Requirements:
  • Professional qualification in law, finance, accountancy, business management or CFA certification
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in related activities in the securities market
  • At least 2 years of experience in portfolio management or investment advisory services
  • NISM XXI-B certification
  • Graduate degree holder with at least 2 years of experience in related activities
  • Fulfill capital adequacy requirements (net worth of Rs. 5 crores)
  • No involvement in any litigation/conviction involving moral turpitude
  • Able to demonstrate
