Job Title: Global Transfer Operations Associate

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Global Transfer Operations Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the operations team in processing transactions related to transfer agency, registrations, static updates, employee share plans, and settlement dealing.

You will work closely with the integrated value chain and global/international interfaces to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions. Your knowledge of capital market products, equity, bonds, and transfer agency will be essential in this role.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and problem-solving skillset, with excellent oral and written communication skills. You will be able to work effectively in a team environment, meeting demanding deadlines and working long hours as required.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to demonstrate high levels of initiative, motivation, and organizational skills. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, or Banking-related discipline from a reputable institution is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the operations team in processing transactions related to transfer agency, registrations, static updates, employee share plans, and settlement dealing.
  • Work closely with the integrated value chain and global/international interfaces to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.
  • Maintain knowledge of capital market products, equity, bonds, and transfer agency.
  • Develop and maintain process knowledge and KOP.
  • Respond to clients through agreed-upon modes by deadlines.
  • Maintain relevant systems and databases.
  • Prepare client responses, presentations, and reports as per business requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative, procedural, industry, financial, and client-specific procedures.
  • Support and assist other team members as needed.
  • Complete mandatory training by required due dates and participate in training on changes in procedures, company policies, values, cross-skilling, and updates to tools and systems used by the business.
  • Meet individual targets and objectives.
  • Provide superior service, ensuring service and quality standards are met, and minimizing re-work.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 0-2 years of experience in Financial/Capital Markets, preferably in Transfer Agency operations with basic knowledge of Capital Markets/Financial Market products.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, or Banking-related discipline from a reputable institution.
  • Demonstrated high level of initiative, motivation, and organizational skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including negotiation skills, ability to liaise successfully with internal and external parties, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility - able to meet demanding deadlines and work long hours as required.
  • Qualification in business/financial markets/law/securities industry desirable.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PP).
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Excellent attention to detail, right first time.
  • Good time management skills and ability to work with support/guidance.
  • Demonstrates awareness of good customer service.
  • Ability to work as a team and under supervision.
  • Demonstrates good teamwork ethic, showing willingness to assist peers and take on additional tasks.
