Game Economy Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Game Economy Specialist to design and implement engaging social casino gaming experiences for players worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Economy Design: Develop compelling economy models that drive player engagement and revenue growth.
  • Currency Management: Create and balance in-app currencies, progression curves, reward structures, and monetization systems.
  • Data Analysis: Use data modeling and player segmentation to forecast behavioral trends and evaluate the impact of new features.
  • Economy Iteration: Continuously iterate on game economy design based on KPI analysis to enhance player satisfaction and performance.
  • Live Events: Plan and design economy-driven live events and promotions (e.g., sales, challenges, time-limited events).
  • A/B Testing: Conduct and analyze A/B tests for pricing strategies, rewards, and progression tuning to optimize key KPIs related to monetization, engagement, and retention.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed economy specifications, balancing sheets, and documentation for cross-functional teams.
  • Economic Balance: Ensure consistent economic balance and fairness across platforms.

About the Role:

  • 5+ years of experience in game economy design, preferably in Social Casino games.
  • Deep understanding of free-to-play economy design, monetization strategies, and player psychology.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, or other statistical tools for analytical modeling.
  • Experience working closely with developers, product managers, and analysts.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Passion for gaming and a good understanding of the gaming industry.
  • Master's degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, or Engineering.
