Business Strategist

We are seeking a skilled Business Strategist to take on key responsibilities at Stavian-chemical. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Audit and identify new opportunities for growth in current and prospective markets by analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships through regular contact, data collection, and strategic offer development.
  • Purchase and sell plastic resins from India producers and distributors, and sell to existing and new customers while ensuring optimal pricing and logistics.
  • Represent the company at meetings, conferences, and international tradeshows to promote trademarks and products effectively.
  • Develop relationships with resin producers and assist the Branch Manager in monitoring logistics, inventory management, and cargo allocations for seamless operations.
  • Conduct market research, gathering information for strategic planning, and prepare comprehensive marketing reports on market trends and competitors' products.
  • Develop innovative marketing ideas and strategies to attract potential customers and increase market share.
  • Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in trading polymers in India and international markets with a proven track record of success.
  • In-depth understanding of the polymer market in India, including regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for business purposes.
  • Knowledge of the latest business policies and regulations, including those related to trade and commerce.
  • Skills:
  • Demonstrable analytical thinking and business acumen.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong leadership quality and negotiation skills for successful partnership development.
  • Effective time and task management for meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and adapt to a flexible work environment with minimal supervision.
  • Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Management, International Trade, or related fields with a strong academic record.
  • Preferrably an MBA degree with a specialization in strategic management or a related field.
