Job Title: Alternative Fuel Systems Expert

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in designing, developing, and integrating fuel system components for hybrid/electric vehicle programs. The ideal candidate will have strong technical communication skills, supplier management experience, and hands-on knowledge of engineering tools and delivery systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop fuel system components (pipes, tanks, pumps, valves, etc.) that meet safety and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including CAD engineers, lead engineers, subject matter experts, and suppliers to ensure design releases and issue resolution.
  • Ensure vehicle installation feasibility and compliance with powertrain functionality requirements.
  • Manage supplier relationships for timely delivery, quality compliance, and technical support.
  • Utilize PCDS, eAPQP, and EBER systems for robust program delivery and efficient execution.
  • Prepare and present technical documents and reports to stakeholders, showcasing the candidate's ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 6–9 years of experience in fuel system component design and development.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle installation and powertrain requirements.
  • Excellent supplier management and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Familiarity with PCDS, eAPQP, and EBER delivery systems.
  • Hands-on experience with 3DX CAD tools and software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
