ServiceNow Application Developer Position

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow application developer to design, develop, and implement customized applications within the ServiceNow platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Design and develop customized ServiceNow applications based on business requirements.
  • Customization: Customize existing ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.
  • Workflows and Integrations: Develop and maintain Workflows, Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and Script Includes. Additionally, work with REST/SOAP APIs for integrations with third-party systems.

Skill Requirements:

  • Strong Technical Background: 45 years of hands-on development experience with ServiceNow is required.
  • Expertise in JavaScript and Glide API: Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture and data model, expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, and client/server-side scripting.
  • ITSM and Service Portal: Experience with ITSM, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Incident Management modules, as well as knowledge of Service Portal development and custom widget creation.
  • Integration and Methodologies: Experience in ServiceNow integrations using web services (REST/SOAP), familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies, and good understanding of best practices in ServiceNow configuration and development.

Required Certifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA): This certification is mandatory for the position.
  • Additional Certifications: Additional certifications like ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or ITSM Implementation Specialist are advantageous but not necessary.
