Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of US Mortgage Originations closing procedures and federal and state lending laws.
- Interpret investor guidelines from FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA and apply them to specific loans.
- Review property documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Determine the soundness and accuracy of property appraisals.
- Ensure sufficient title and insurance coverage and address encumbrances and clauses.
- Audit property documents daily and assess risk for fraud and red flags.
Requirements
