Job Description:

The role of Senior Performance Tester involves leading the development of a comprehensive performance testing strategy within the engineering team. Key responsibilities include designing and executing load, stress, and scalability testing to ensure the stability and performance of software applications and infrastructure. The Senior Performance Tester must communicate effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders, leveraging technical expertise in performance/load testing principles to deliver high-quality results.

  • Maintain expertise in performance/load testing dictums.
  • Design solutions for supporting Cloud (Azure Devops) and CI/CD for Service enablement.
  • Communicate across teams when required.
  • Monitor Server metrics using APM tools.
  • Participate in continuous improvement measures to increase automation effectiveness.
  • Innovate and implement solutions for industry-standard requirements.
  • Analyze business requirements, solution designs, and process documentation to identify feasible transactions.
  • Implement best performance test practices and standards.
Operational Management

Conduct endurance, stress, load, volume testing to validate production readiness of software applications and infrastructure.

  • Provide performance testing support for respective business units.
  • Coordinate and execute Test Case creation, script development, and performance test execution.
  • Design and develop scripts which validate test cases defined within projects.
  • Perform load testing across messaging protocols, focusing on overall application performance.
Skills and Qualifications

Requirements include 7+ years of performance testing experience, at least 5 years with OpenText LoadRunner, Jmeter, and APM tool experience, as well as strong knowledge and experience in performance testing principles, techniques, and standards.
