Technical Specialist - Proposal Development

Our organization is seeking a seasoned technical specialist to provide domain expertise for proposals in the areas of Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Break down technical requirements, scope, and evaluation criteria from RFPs/RFQs
  • Provide insight into client pain points, expectations, and solution differentiators
  • Develop technical sections, approaches, and win themes with proposal writers
  • Translate delivery/operational knowledge into clear, structured inputs for the proposal team
  • Participate in SME interviews/workshops to brainstorm solutions and approaches
  • Contribute to building a knowledge/content library of reusable technical material, case studies, and solution narratives
  • Review draft proposals to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with requirements

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform
  • Experience working with RFPs, RFQs, or client proposals (desired)
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements and map them to practical solutions
  • Strong communication skills – able to explain complex concepts in simple terms
  • Familiarity with U.S. government / SLED procurement processes is an asset (training can be provided if needed)
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams (proposal writers, capture, operations)
