Service Sales Professional for Loads

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Service Sales Specialist for Loads.

This role involves simulating the site-specific benefit of our upgrade portfolio and verifying the structural integrity of installed wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Re-assess existing/planned wind farms using internal tool chains to confirm compatibility of upgrades and turbine structural integrity.
  • Assess site-specific wind conditions, apply mechanical load mitigation strategies, and run bucket approaches.
  • Support upgrades sales by creating benefit calculations, driving validation campaigns, and initiating implementation.
  • Collaborate with global service regions and after-sales colleagues to convince customers and stakeholders.
  • Have a measurable impact on the business performance of the global Service business unit.
  • Build a network within the company and industry to stay updated on new technological developments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in wind & site assessments, mechanical loads department, or equal technical service organisations in the wind energy industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-driven, focused, and pragmatic individual with ability to bring topics to success in a complex environment.
  • Familiarity with wind turbine technology, WindPRO, and Python an advantage.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • WindPRO and Python experience.
  • Familiarity with wind turbine technology (site assessment, wind turbine control, load calculation, aerodynamics, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English; German an advantage.
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Word and Excel.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
