Internal Audit Manager Role

The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in leading internal audits, preferably in shipping and logistics. This seasoned professional will be responsible for developing a comprehensive internal audit strategy and annual plan based on thorough risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement an effective internal audit strategy and annual plan based on thorough risk assessments.
  2. Lead, execute, and report on internal audits covering financial, operational, and compliance aspects of the organization.
  3. Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and governance frameworks.
  4. Prepare and present clear, concise audit reports and findings to senior management.
  5. Recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and controls, and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
  6. Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  7. Stay updated on regulatory changes.
