Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure CMDB solutions meet business needs, implementing and enforcing CMDB data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity and accuracy, developing and maintaining CMDB documentation, including data models, workflows, and processes, providing technical leadership and mentorship to the CMDB development team, performing regular audits and data quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies, integrating the CMDB with other IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and tools, staying up-to-date with ServiceNow CMDB best practices and industry trends, and conducting training sessions for end-users and stakeholders on CMDB functionalities and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in CMDB development and administration within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Proven experience leading CMDB projects and teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Experience with integrating CMDB with other ITSM processes and tools.
  • Strong understanding of database design, data modeling, and data governance principles.
