Job Description

As a mobile testing professional, you will be responsible for defining the scope of testing within the context of each release or delivery.

You will provide status to the Test Lead/Manager and support the testing team in their efforts. Your role will involve working closely with Business Analysts (BAs), functional leads, and development teams to ensure that testing is carried out effectively and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release/delivery
  • Providing status to the Test Lead/Manager
  • Supporting the testing team
  • Working closely with BAs, functional leads, and development teams
  • Supporting in test planning and managing the testing effort for any given release
  • Designing test scenarios and test cases
  • Bug tracking and reporting
  • Defect coordination


Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking an individual with excellent written and communication skills who has experience in the e-commerce domain with expertise in both mobile and web testing.

Key qualifications include:

  • Must have experience in the e-commerce domain with expertise in both mobile and web testing
  • Good experience in API testing
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and its methodologies, such as Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile
  • Proficient in writing and executing test plans and test cases in highly structured environments, performing all types of testing
  • Solid hands-on experience in Integration Testing, Functional Testing, Black Box Testing, User Acceptance Testing, System Testing, Smoke Testing, and Regression Testing
  • Able to identify test scenarios, estimate test effort, and create test plans
  • Working experience with Jira and Agile-driven projects
  • Good to have experience in performance testing and Firebase Analytics
  • Advantage to have experience in tools for mobile testing
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Implement effective managerial and testing techniques
  • Ability to interact with technical teams to convert functional requirements into test specifications
  • Must have excellent written and communication skills
  • Experienced in preparing test data, preparation of test cases, and test execution
  • Very client-focused with regards to service delivery
