**Automation Specialist Role**

We are seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to play a pivotal role in shaping our test automation strategy.

This individual will be responsible for assessing problem statements, arriving at innovative solutions, and leading the definition and implementation of standard test automation processes.

A strong background in test automation, with hands-on experience with various tools such as Selenium, UFT, Web Services, and Soap UI, is essential.

Experience in data-driven and keyword-driven automation, along with expertise in Core Java, is crucial.

Strong analytical skills are required to visualize the test automation architecture as a whole system and identify opportunities for improvement.

The ideal candidate will contribute to the design and architecture of automation projects, promote QA productivity through automation tools, and assist in ongoing process improvement efforts.

Key qualifications include experience in RESTful services, Groovy, BDD tools like JBehave or Cucumber, CI tools like Jenkins, database testing, built tools like Gradle or Maven, and excellent communication skills.

Mentoring junior and senior software quality engineers, working with geographically dispersed teams, and customer-facing experience are also essential.

Added advantages include airlines e-commerce automation testing experience and transitioning automation activities from other teams.
