About the Role:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python to ensure efficient testing processes.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to understand product requirements and design test strategies that meet business needs.
  • Automate web-based application testing using Selenium or Playwright frameworks to optimize user experience.
  • Perform API testing using REST Assured tools for backend service functionality and stability.
  • Utilize Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration to ensure seamless project management.
  • Manage test cases with JIRA, track defects, and oversee project progress.
  • Set up and manage test environments using Docker containers to ensure efficient testing.
  • Conduct cross-platform compatibility testing on Windows and Linux operating systems to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Apply TDD and BDD principles to create robust test scripts that meet business objectives.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with performance and security testing concepts and tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of GraphQL technology is a plus.
  • Experience with API automation is a plus.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in software development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with hands-on experience.
  • Solid understanding of Playwright automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in using REST Assured tools for API testing.
  • Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control.
  • Experience with JIRA for test case management.
  • Knowledge of Docker and ability to work with containers.
  • Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of TDD and BDD methodologies.
  • Knowledge and experience with Jenkins is a plus.
