Automated Testing Specialist

We seek an experienced Cypress Automation Engineer to drive the development and maintenance of high-quality automated test scripts for our web applications.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites using Cypress.io for end-to-end and integration testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and identify test scenarios.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Investigate failed tests, report defects with detailed documentation, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure robust test coverage for new features and regression testing.
  • Maintain and update test frameworks and libraries as needed.
  • Participate in code reviews, promote test automation best practices, and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in test automation with Cypress.io.
  • Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs, browser dev tools).
  • Experience with source control tools like Git.
  • Agile/Scrum methodologies familiarity.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
