Job Title: Senior Ecommerce SEO Strategist

Fabel Services is seeking an experienced and strategic SEO Manager to lead and develop the SEO team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2C e-commerce, a deep understanding of UK market trends, and 10-15 years of SEO experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements effective ecommerce SEO strategies across multiple product categories.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams (Content, Product, Dev, Data) to improve website rankings on Google and Bing.
  • Audits and measures content effectiveness, providing actionable insights and recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Conducts technical and content audits following algorithm updates, creating delta reports to highlight content drops and gains.
  • Works closely with development team on template enhancements, site health, and recirculation opportunities.
  • Produces ad-hoc reports using tools like SEMRush, Sistrix, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Looker, providing insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Stays up-to-date with the latest SEO and industry trends, tools, and best practices, continually testing and implementing new strategies.
  • Creates a comprehensive link-building strategy, targeting high-quality and relevant backlinks to improve domain authority.
  • Reviews and analyzes backlink profiles, disavowing harmful links and identifying opportunities for new link acquisitions.
  • Establishes relationships with industry influencers, bloggers, and webmasters to secure guest posts, mentions, and backlinks.
  • Works closely with content creators to promote content and earn natural backlinks through outreach, social media, and partnerships.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 10 to 15 years of ecommerce SEO experience.
  • Strong hands-on analysis and performance insights.
  • Experience in web analytics and data visualization tools such as Looker, Looker Studio, and Google Analytics (GA4 preferred).
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Clear understanding of ecommerce SEO best practices related to EEAT, CWV, and requirements for success in the UK market.
