**Job Title:** Supply Chain Optimization Specialist

Job Purpose: We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to develop and implement data-driven strategies that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our pharmaceutical supply chain. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, implement best practices, and ensure alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate demand forecasts using data analysis, market trends, and product lifecycle information.
  • Adjust forecasts based on real-time market and sales input, ensuring continuous accuracy.
  • Recommend strategies to optimize inventory levels, balancing service levels and minimizing excess or obsolete stock.
  • Implement effective inventory management for new product launches and promotions.
  • Analyze and refine existing demand planning processes, proposing improvements to enhance forecast accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Implement demand planning tools and train internal teams on best practices.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain) to align demand forecasts with overall business strategy.
  • Facilitate regular S&OP meetings to ensure smooth integration between demand and supply planning.
  • Provide regular reports on forecast accuracy, inventory health, and performance metrics.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain consulting, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency with demand planning software (e.g., SAP, JDA), and excellent communication abilities.
