SCADA Systems Integration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled System Architect to lead the design, configuration and deployment of Ignition SCADA and MES applications across manufacturing operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and implementing real-time data acquisition, visualization and reporting solutions.
They will also ensure seamless integration of OT systems (PLC, SCADA, MES) with enterprise IT systems (ERP, databases, cloud).
Additionally, they will develop and maintain secure and efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT and OPC UA protocols.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing industrial databases (SQL, historian, time-series) for high availability and performance.
They will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs.
Providing technical leadership in digital transformation initiatives such as Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing and predictive analytics is also a key responsibility.
Troubleshooting, optimizing and supporting existing SCADA/MES deployments to ensure minimal downtime is another critical task.
Mentoring junior engineers and supporting knowledge sharing across the engineering team is also an essential part of this role.
