Expert SCADA/ADMS Engineer Needed

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled SCADA/ADMS engineer with in-depth knowledge of GE PowerOn to join our team. The ideal candidate will have direct experience with PowerOn configuration, SCADA/DMS/OMS workflows, GIS integration, and utility operational processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, integrating, and lifecycle managing Distribution Automation projects. Key responsibilities include configuring, testing, and deploying GE PowerOn Advantage/ADMS modules (SCADA, DMS, OMS), customizing business logic, alarms, telemetry points, and control actions, developing scripts to automate data processing and system operations using PL/SQL, Shell, and Perl, integrating systems with GIS (e.g., Smallworld), AMI, OMS, and enterprise systems, implementing and supporting FLISR, Volt/VAR Optimization, Load Forecasting, and Switching Plans, troubleshooting and resolving real-time operational issues on SCADA/DMS platforms, providing user training, documentation, and L2/L3 support to control room operators, and collaborating with internal teams, clients, and developers.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in SCADA/ADMS/OMS engineering within the electric utility sector.
  • Hands-on experience with GE PowerOn (Advantage / Fusion / Control).
  • Proficiency in SCADA protocols (DNP3, IEC 101/104, Modbus).
  • Strong scripting ability in PL/SQL, Shell, and Perl.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
  • Exposure to distribution network modeling and GIS-to-ADMS mapping.
  • Understanding of distribution system operations and control center processes.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
