Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Manager to lead our industrial quality initiatives.

  • The successful candidate will ensure that our products meet customer and internal specifications, deploying industry-standard quality processes throughout manufacturing.
  • This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and zero-defect performance, particularly in special processes.

Accountability & Responsibilities

The Quality Manager will be accountable for managing IQ activities in relevant workshops, including people, process, and performance.

  • Key responsibilities include performing defect analysis, leading line quality animations, and supporting decision-making on handovers and production stops when necessary.
  • This role also entails participating in criticality matrix analysis, contributing to process FMEA, and implementing and updating quality control plans during pre-serial manufacturing activities.

Additional Tasks

  • Support the Quality Manager in their scope of work.
  • Manage internal NCRs, support characterization, and participate in customer inspections.
  • Qualify manufacturing teams for self-inspection, manage workstation dynamic checklists, and perform audits and follow-ups.
  • Perform or participate in product inspections as required.

Performance Metrics

  • Reduce external demerit, defects per unit, and first-pass yield losses to achieve defined objectives.
  • Minimize CONQ per unit and improve APsys scores for industrial quality requirements.

Required Competencies & Skills

  • Rigorous and effective communication.
  • Technical mastery of railway products.
  • International mindset and fluency in English.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization under pressure.
  • Familiarity with quality standards (ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI) and tools.
