Job Overview

The Application Support Engineer role is responsible for maintaining the Access Control and CCTV systems' software and hardware. This includes configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting issues related to these systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience in installation and maintenance of Access Control and CCTV Systems, as well as knowledge of CCURE 9000 and CCURE GO software and all related hardware.

Additionally, they should have experience in enterprise CCTV systems like Intellicene (Cognyte/Verint), Symphia VMS, Genetec video solutions etc.

They will also be responsible for installing and configuring security system applications on servers, providing 24/7 monitoring of application services hosted on servers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Product Support:
    • Configure support for Access Control and CCTV systems.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues pertaining to Access Control CCTV systems and other CSI applications.
    • Provide remote support to internal clients on system configuration.
    • Identify and analyze system failures and provide support to onsite techs for break-fix.
    • Track system issues through to resolution within agreed time limits.
    • Escala unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams.
  • Application Server Support:
    • Install and configure security system applications on servers.
    • Provide 24/7 monitoring of application services hosted on servers.
    • Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams.
  • Other Responsibilities:
    • Respond timely and professionally to emergency service calls during office hours and off-hours including nights.
    • Involve other team members to establish best practices/decisions.
    • Act independently as and when required.
    • Report to senior management to ensure satisfaction of work.
    • Participate in departmental meetings.
Requirements
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Knowledge of Access Control and CCTV systems.
    • Experience in CCURE 9000 and CCURE GO software and all related hardware.
    • Experience in enterprise CCTV systems like Intellicene (Cognyte/Verint), Symphia VMS, Genetec video solutions etc.
    • Experience in Windows Server Operating systems.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
    • Technical trouble shooting and reverse engineering skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Motivated self-starter and ability to multitask.
  • Education Qualification:
    • Engineering Degree in Electronics/Computer Science or any equivalent qualification.
