Condition Monitoring Specialist

People Prime Worldwide is seeking a skilled Condition Monitoring Specialist to provide engineer-level support on condition monitoring of rotating equipment. This role involves utilizing data acquisition techniques, analyzing data, and providing recommendations for maintenance needs to prevent major breakdowns.

  • Carry out detailed analysis of condition-based data, monitor and analyze vibration oil analysis wear particle thermography, and perform root cause analysis for potential failures.
  • Identify inherent conditions leading to rotating equipment failure through operational machine condition monitoring parameters.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of condition-based maintenance techniques, analysis, and troubleshooting skills, as well as experience in rotating equipment maintenance, vibration standards, and mechanical design. A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field and knowledge of condition monitoring data systems are required. Formal trainings in condition monitoring techniques and certification in condition monitoring are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

The Condition Monitoring Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and analyzing data from condition-based sensors and equipment.
  • Providing recommendations for maintenance needs to prevent major breakdowns.
  • Developing and implementing condition monitoring programs to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address equipment-related issues.

Requirements

A successful Condition Monitoring Specialist will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Knowledge of condition monitoring data systems and software.
  • Formal training in condition monitoring techniques and certification in condition monitoring.
  • At least 5 years of experience in rotating equipment maintenance, vibration standards, and mechanical design.
