Business Intelligence and Data Analyst Position

The role of Business Intelligence and Data Analyst is crucial in building and maintaining a robust data infrastructure while delivering actionable insights through advanced analytics. This position requires strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and data pipelines, as well as the ability to translate data into business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Infrastructure Development
  • Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, or similar tools.
  • Administer and optimize the EduFinance SQL database on Microsoft Azure.
  • Ensure high-quality, clean, and well-documented data pipelines and dataflows.
Advanced Analytics
  • Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and automated reporting tools for various departments.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis using SQL, Power BI, Python, and Excel to provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Present findings and insights to internal teams and stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, computer engineering, statistics, or another quantitative field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in SQL development and database administration experience (Azure SQL preferred).
  • Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines (Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, or similar tools).
  • Proficiency with APIs and data integration methods.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, PivotTables, advanced formulas, macros a plus).
  • Expertise in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, dashboard/report design).
  • Proficiency in Python for data transformation, automation, and analysis.
