Senior Data Platform Strategist

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Data Platform Strategist to lead our data architecture efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise data strategy, aligning with business goals and objectives.
  • Oversight of modern data platforms including Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, and Kafka, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Enable AI/ML capabilities for personalization, forecasting, and analytics, driving business value and growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and R&D teams, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing data engineering team, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 18+ years of experience in IT, with 8+ years in data architecture/engineering.
  • Strong expertise in large-scale, distributed data systems, with a deep understanding of data governance principles.
  • Extensive experience in CPG/FMCG data use cases (CDPs, MMM, ProfitSphere, inventory analytics).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
