Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic plans to achieve revenue and cost goals.
  • Design commercial frameworks for winning proposals by gathering client requirements and presenting solutions effectively.
  • Contribute to business development tasks, marketing outreach programs, and content creation (industry decks, white papers, articles, case studies) to support growth.
  • Lead a team of analysts and associates in techno-commercial research & advisory services for the chemicals & materials domain, ensuring recruitment and nurturing of team members.
  • Handle all client communication, including queries, kick-off calls, deliverable presentations, and feedback sessions.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating technical, business, and analytical discussions.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical mindset and technical background to generate actionable recommendations for clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in chemical/materials science or related fields or equivalent experience. OR Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering + MBA (marketing/operations).
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in business research or consulting engagements.
  • Primary research experience with ability to train team members and improve their primary research skills.
  • End-to-end management of business research or consulting engagements, up-to-date with industry happenings and trends (sustainability, biomaterials, carbon neutrality, etc.).
  • Past experience handling teams of qualified professionals.
  • Excellent knowledge of market analysis, business analysis, technology analysis, competitor intelligence, and management frameworks.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and be self-organized, planned, matured, and detail-oriented.
