Senior Analyst Role

This senior analyst role involves ensuring high-quality standards are maintained for all customer due diligence profiles approved and submitted by team members. This includes conducting quality checks on due diligence reviews completed by analysts for accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough checks on due diligence reviews for accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure timely completion of due diligence reviews within stipulated project deadlines
  • Produce high-quality customer profiles and address quality issues
  • Meet customer needs by handling escalations and complaints in a timely manner
  • Work with operational teams to ensure timely profile completion and prioritize workload to meet due diligence objectives
  • Mentor new joiners to the team and bring them up to speed on the process
  • Highlight audit and compliance issues to management
  • Perform root cause analysis and develop action plans to improve quality scores

Skills Required:

  • Ability to learn new segments and business profiles
  • Capacity to research and analyze large datasets and assess higher risk attributes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in writing risk assessments
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think critically and proactively
  • Ability to work under time pressure with high accuracy
  • Experience with AML/KYC tools such as SWIFT KYC Registry, Factiva, Bankers Almanac, RDC, Internet Research
  • Knowledge of financial regulatory requirements and AML risk implications

Requirements:

  • Total 3-6 years of Customer Due Diligence/Enhanced Due Diligence experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a checker role
  • Graduation in Commerce/Finance or equivalent required
  • Flexibility to work in different shift timings
  • Good understanding of MS Office and proven skills on banking platforms
  • Additional certification: ACAMS, ICA, IIBF KYC and other Financial Crime Certifications (Optional)
