Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.

You will be responsible for creating detailed designs, prototypes, and testing plans to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Your primary focus will be on applying your expertise in solid mechanics, dynamics, thermodynamics, and other relevant areas to drive innovation and improve our product offerings.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure seamless collaboration and communication throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems that meet customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop detailed designs, prototypes, and testing plans to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Apply expertise in solid mechanics, dynamics, thermodynamics, and other relevant areas to drive innovation and improve product offerings.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Master's degree in mechanical engineering or related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of CAD software, such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or Pro/ENGINEER.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Proficient in SolidWorks.
  • Sound knowledge of sheet metals, Machined and plastic parts.
  • Good understanding of various manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Strong command of Microsoft tools - Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Desirable Skills:
  • Basic understanding of GD&T & Tolerance stack up.
  • Understanding of FMEA.
  • Knowledge of design life cycle management tools e.g. Windchill/PLM.
