Job Title: Environmental Data Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Data Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing environmental reporting and data management support.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide environmental reporting and data management support, utilizing databases like Locus EIM, EQuIS etc.
  • Develop and generate formatted EDDs, tables, figures, charts, reports, etc.
  • Assist senior colleagues on multiple projects and deliver high-quality results within deadlines and cost expectations.
  • Process data from intrusive site investigations (for example geological logs, chemical laboratory data, and geotechnical laboratory data etc.) for presentation and interpretation as required by the Delivery/Task/Project Manager.
  • Provide administrative support for projects by collecting data, providing project documentation, training staff, Task Management, and performing other general administrative duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in commonly used Microsoft Office 365 apps.
  • Networking, communication, and people skills.
  • Strong organisation skills - ability to work independently and as part of a team and ensure effective communications with minimal supervision.
  • Strong technical writing skills.

About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a degree in Geology/Geoscience/Earth Science, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related subject. You should also have knowledge of digital tools and languages like R Studio, Python, KNIME and Power BI/GIS/(hydro)geological/geochemical/subsurface modelling. Field experience is a plus.
