Job Title: Environmental Consultant

As a highly skilled Environmental Consultant, you will be responsible for leading and delivering complex projects related to site investigation, environmental due diligence, and remediation.

• Project Leadership: You will lead and manage Site Evaluation & Restoration (SER) projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and effective project management practices.
• Environmental Due Diligence: You will perform due diligence assessments, including Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments (ESAs). This will involve identifying potential environmental liabilities and providing recommendations for risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Site Investigation: You will conduct comprehensive site investigations, including soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring, and analysis. Your expertise will be used to interpret and evaluate data to identify environmental risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Remediation Planning and Implementation: You will develop and implement remediation strategies for contaminated sites, including remedial action plans, feasibility studies, and remediation system design. You will oversee remediation projects to ensure effective and efficient implementation.
• Regulatory Compliance: You will stay updated on relevant environmental regulations and guidelines, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international environmental standards.
• Client Management: You will build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in environmental consulting.
• Team Collaboration: You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including geologists, engineers, scientists, and other environmental professionals, to deliver integrated solutions and achieve project objectives.
• Business Development: You will support business development efforts by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and participating in client presentations. You will contribute to the growth and success of the Environmental Consulting practice.

• Education: A bachelor's degree in environmental science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field is required. An advanced degree (master's or Ph.D.) is preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in site evaluation, remediation, and due diligence, preferably within consulting or environmental services, is required.
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in site investigation techniques, environmental due diligence, and remediation strategies is essential. Familiarity with applicable regulatory frameworks is also required.
• Project Management: Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects, including managing budgets, resources, and client expectations.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret complex environmental data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations is crucial.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of relevant environmental regulations and guidelines, including local, national, and international standards, is necessary.
• Professional Certifications: Professional certifications such as P.G., P.E., or relevant industry certifications are desirable.
• Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
• Business Acumen: Strong business development skills, with the ability to identify opportunities, prepare proposals, and contribute to the growth of the Environmental Consulting practice.
