Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Compliance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving environmental performance across all internal manufacturing sites, R&D locations and office sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an annual environmental training and communication plan, ensuring effective follow-up and support delivery.
  • Effectively report and track all incident reports and open action items.
  • Monitor the status of operational HSE processes and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance and periodic reporting of gaps and risks.
  • Track and report on inspections, internal and external audits, conformance reviews, including legal compliance.
  • Effectively track and report new and emerging laws and regulations, including plastics, EPR, AMR and water quality.
  • Manage multi-site certifications and report progress (i.e. ISO 14001, AMR, PSCI etc).
  • Provide data management support across all internal manufacturing sites, R&D and office locations and suppliers.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on emerging environmental regulations, risks, opportunities and performance KPIs.
  • Support reporting of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) for environmental liabilities across operations.
  • Support due diligence for divestments, transactions and mergers and acquisitions activities as required.
  • Monitor and measure environmental processes and performance against using KPIs, dashboards, inspections and audits.
  • Monthly KPI reporting, best practice sharing, alerts and ensure environmental training and competency.

Essential Requirements:

  • Projects must be delivered in high quality and timely -Feedback from internal and external stakeholders regarding project specific KPIs, training sessions and respective preparation

Desirable Requirements :

  • Experience in managing environmental compliance including air emissions, waste, wastewater risk assessments, soil and groundwater contamination investigation, remediation techniques and projects.
  • Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations that drive permit compliance, remediation clean-up requirements.
  • Strong project management skills including managing multiple projects, financial accounting of consultant charges.
  • MBA with university degree in engineering, technology, geology, environment or other related natural/technical field. Advanced degree is highly desirable.
  • Overall relevant work experience of about 5-10 years, ideally at multi-national organizations, in-depth specialized expertise in managing environmental compliance, contaminated site remediation with a significant portion being within pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a consulting role (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in an operational/site-based role (preferred).
