Network Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Team Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of network engineers and ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud network infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6-8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data center networks, as well as strong fundamentals and understanding of WAN & Routing technologies, Security technologies, Switching, and Network monitoring Protocols & Tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecting, designing, installing, maintaining, and managing the equipment needed to provide Cloud Network Infrastructure.
  • Ensuring a high level of availability, flexibility, and network performance.
  • Maintaining, auditing, reviewing, and updating infrastructure documentation.
  • Working collaboratively with the team on day-to-day changes, incidents, and requests.
  • Overseeing a team of network engineers, providing technical expertise and guidance, evaluating their performance, and providing feedback.
  • Proactively monitoring and analyzing key performance and capacity metrics and trends to assess risks and business impact.
Requirements:
  • At least 6-8 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining DataCenter networks, L2/L3 technologies, Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, and wireless, Cisco/Juniper/Fortigate firewalls, Load balancer etc.
  • Strong fundamentals and understanding of WAN & Routing technologies (WAN technologies include Leased lines, GRE VPNs, IPSEC based VPNs, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VRRP/HSRP, EVPN etc.), Security technologies (Firewalls, ACLs, NAT, IPS, IDS, RADIUS, TACACS+, IAS, VPN technologies), Switching (VLANs, VXLAN LACP, EtherChannel, 802.3ad, VTP, 802.1q) and Network monitoring Protocols & Tools (SNMP, NetFlow , Zabbix, PRTG etc.)
  • Good knowledge of SDN Technologies, preferably hands-on experience on any one of the SDN provider – VMWare NSX, Juniper Contrail/Tungsten, Arista, Cisco etc.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly narrow down and resolve problems.
  • Highly motivated individual who is a self-starter and can demonstrate effective project management and completion of complex network tasks with little guidance.
  • Motivated learner – ability to quickly learn new technologies and keep networking skills current with emerging technologies.
  • Experience in handling a team of minimum 4 people in the above role.
