Director of Engineering

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Engineering to lead our DevOps Team. In this role, you will manage a high-performing team of engineers and architects to develop, deploy, and maintain scalable systems.

  • Lead and manage a team to develop, deploy, and maintain scalable systems.
  • Act as a point of contact for customers for DevOps-related inquiries and solutions.
  • Understand and translate business objectives into technical requirements for the team.
  • Develop and maintain strategies for DevOps processes and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Work collaboratively with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Monitor system health and security, and ensure proper tools and practices are in place.

Responsibilities include managing deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and support of DevOps related software and systems.

You will provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required; Master's degree preferred.

At least 8 years of experience in DevOps, software development, or system operations, with a minimum of 2 years in a management or leadership role is required.

Proven experience in leading and managing the delivery of system/software development projects in a structured environment is required.

Strong experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Terraform is required.

Excellent knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, GCP is required.

Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to function well in a high-paced environment is required.

Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills, superior written and verbal communication skills is required.
