Senior Java Spring Developer Job Summary

This position leads the development of complex applications, typically as part of a project team or in an application support role. The successful candidate will analyze, design, code, test and implement systematic solutions that meet customer requirements and adhere to industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leads the analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation of complex application enhancements, providing general production support and meeting defined scope, target dates with minimal or no defects.
  • Participates in the full system development life cycle, per current software development lifecycle standards.
  • Collaborates with customers, business analysts, partners, and IT team members to understand business requirements and drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
  • Provides required technical support, including release implementations, on-call and 24x7 supports when necessary.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Java/Spring development.
  • Experience in Microservices architecture with REST API.
  • Hands-on experience in DevOps tools like Git, Gradle.
  • Design to deployment of a microservices application knowledge.
  • NFR (Non-Functional Requirements) development experience.
  • Good communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic knowledge in Python.
  • Design patterns for developing web applications.
  • Front-end/backend integration experience.
  • Cloud SDK in GCP experience.
  • Participation in code review, design review.
  • Analysis of SonarQube static code analysis.
