About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to lead our Developer Productivity/Platform Engineering team. This role involves driving initiatives that improve developer experience, accelerate release cycles, and build scalable internal platforms.

  • Lead the Developer Productivity/Platform Engineering Team: Set the vision and execution roadmap for the team.
  • Design and Build Internal Tools/Platforms: Optimize CI/CD, testing frameworks, and infrastructure automation.
  • Drive Adoption of Cloud-Native Solutions: Kubernetes, AWS, ephemeral environments, service monitoring tools.
  • Partner with Engineering Leaders: Align developer experience initiatives with organizational goals and OKRs.
  • Champion Best Practices: Continuous delivery, developer efficiency, and operational excellence.
  • Educate and Mentor Engineers: Foster innovation and build a culture of experimentation and learning.

Requirements

  • 8+ Years in Software Engineering: At least 3 years in platform/dev productivity roles.
  • Strong Expertise: Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Spinnaker/Jenkins/ArgoCD, IaC.
  • Hands-on Experience: Test automation frameworks, dynamic test selection, code quality gates.
  • Coding Skills: Go, Python, or Java (Go preferred for tooling/frameworks).
  • Experience Designing: Ephemeral environments, monitoring/observability tools.
  • Leadership Experience: Leading small teams, mentoring engineers, and driving large-scale initiatives.
  • Communication Skills: Influence cross-functional stakeholders.
