Are you a skilled software engineer looking to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of innovative solutions?

The role we are hiring for involves designing, implementing, and unit testing new features within our product according to defined requirements within agreed timeframes.

As a senior software engineer in this position, you will work closely with the technical architect, product design team, quality assurance, and other software engineers to build amazing features for our strategic program management solution.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing new features according to defined requirements

• Ensuring code developed adheres to performance requirements

• Building front-end software using React/Javascript according to visual designs provided by the UX team

• Implementing corresponding backend model software using Ruby on Rails

• Maintaining existing client applications including fast resolution of customer-raised issues within the software

• Writing unit tests to ensure high-quality Ruby on Rails code within our infrastructure

• Collaborating with product design teams, QA, and other stakeholders to understand user needs, ensuring best customer solutions

• Estimating, self-planning, and self-managing tasks as a developer within an agile team

• Documenting technical processes and software changes when necessary

• Protecting confidential data and following information security protocols

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's and/or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical discipline

• 3-9 years professional software development experience

• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript with React capability desirable, SQL and databases

• Knowledge of CI/CD technologies (Gitlab an advantage)

• Familiarity with SaaS application architecture and design with Azure knowledge desirable

• Understanding of software engineering and best practices
