Program Manager

Job Description:

As a seasoned program manager, you will lead the delivery of software engineering projects and programs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure understanding of priorities, project execution, and achievement of targeted outcomes.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Developing program strategy and planning
  • Defining scope, goals, and roadmap for software programs
  • Leading program-level planning and prioritization in collaboration with engineering and product leadership
  • Collaborative Execution: coordinating efforts across multiple software development teams and technical team members
  • Facilitating milestone planning and progress tracking
  • Ensuring cross-team understanding, visibility, and transparency throughout the program lifecycle
  • Delivery Management: monitoring and reporting on project and program progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Promoting delivery excellence through adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and internal processes
  • Resolving delivery blockers, managing interdependencies, and escalating as needed

To succeed in this role, you will have:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field is required.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management in software engineering or related technical fields
  • Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with project tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, SAFe, or equivalent
