Senior Engineering Manager

The Reservations Platform team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Manager to oversee day-to-day application development projects and software engineering.

This individual will directly manage software engineers and project managers, delivering on commitments to discipline partners and collaborating with architects on major organizational initiatives across multiple channels & platform.

  • Technical leadership: Provide strategic guidance and oversight of the technical direction for the Reservations Platform group.
  • Project management: Directly manage multiple concurrent projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring timely and within budget completion.
  • Team management: Manage and mentor software engineers and project managers, promoting job satisfaction and growth.

Required skills include:

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working in fully agile product or software delivery teams regionally.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing medium- to large-scale initiatives/transformations.
  • Strong understanding of integration approaches and architectures, as well as experience with technologies such as Java, NoSQL, Spring boot and WebFlux, Kafka, Docker, K8s, Cloud, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, logging, metrics, monitoring, tracing, service mesh, LTM, GTM, SEO, API platforms, back-end services, database and networking components of full stack infrastructure.
