Job Overview

The Project Development Coordinator plays a key role in driving the organization's renewable energy project development initiatives. Reporting directly to the Head of Project Development, this position oversees land acquisition activities for wind projects and contributes to creating a pipeline for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive support for project development activities and collaborate with various departments for land acquisition and related tasks for wind projects.
  2. Identify suitable developers/aggregators for wind energy projects, focusing on primary target states.
  3. Ensure adherence to relevant statutes and regulations related to land, forest, and other necessary approvals.
  4. Assess risks in land acquisition and recommend mitigation plans.
  5. Lead legal due diligence and documentation processes with internal/external lawyers, ensuring clear and marketable title of potential lands before acquisition.
  6. Participate in drafting, finalizing, and executing Sale/Lease Deeds and other agreements.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, engineering, project management, legal, and finance, to facilitate seamless land acquisition for wind energy projects.
  8. Facilitate effective communication and coordination to meet project timelines and objectives.
  9. Handle interactions with local agencies and stakeholders to ensure smooth acquisition and usage of lands for wind energy projects until commissioning.
  10. Manage administrative tasks related to land acquisition and usage across the company's pan-India locations.
  11. Develop project plans and schedules, coordinating with various stakeholders for successful project implementation.
  12. Obtain necessary approvals for land acquisition like Airport Authority of India (AAI) NOC, Ministry of Defence (MoD) NOC, and other relevant approvals.
