Job Title: MEP Designer

Location: HSR, Bangalore

Job Type: Full Time

Experience: 3-5 years

  • We are looking for a skilled designer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and specifications using Autocad. You will work closely with our architects, engineers, vendors, and execution team to ensure seamless design-to-delivery coordination.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate layout drawings using Autodesk Revit (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and low-voltage systems).
  • Collaborate with architectural and structural teams for clash detection and coordination.
  • Prepare specifications for services aligned with design and execution requirements.
  • Support tendering and vendor alignment processes with technical documentation.
  • Revise and update models and drawings based on feedback and site conditions.
  • Conduct regular coordination meetings with vendors and consultants to ensure design intent is maintained during execution.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and support procurement processes by providing detailed schedules.
  • Perform site visits if required for design validation and inspections.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering fields.
  • 4–5 years of relevant hands-on experience with Revit MEP in commercial/office space projects.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks for BIM coordination.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, and plumbing systems.
  • Experience preparing specifications and technical documentation.
  • Excellent understanding of building services codes and industry standards.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
